Who Is Hot, Who Is Not

Hot: Lando Norris. The win snaps a long dry spell and proves the raw pace was always there. Hot too is Kimi Antonelli, who keeps turning off days into podiums. Third from seventh on the grid is the kind of damage control that wins titles. Charles Leclerc quietly banked the fastest lap of the race at 1:22.000 and brought his Ferrari home fourth.

Not: Oscar Piastri, through no fault of his own, loses another handful of points he could not afford. Max Verstappen is second again and remains winless in 2026, a sentence nobody expected to write this deep into a season. Red Bull has the raw speed to run at the front but has not found the top step all year.

Antonelli continues to run away with it. He now sits on 219 points with six wins, a commanding lead over Lewis Hamilton on 169 and George Russell on 160.
